Reelected representatives on the Pierre City Commission and Pierre School Board have been sworn in to begin another three year term in their respective offices.
City Commissioners Jamie Huizenga and Todd Johnson renewed their oath of office last week (July 2, 2024). Huizenga remains president of the group, meaning he presides over meetings if Mayor Steve Harding is absent.

At this week’s Pierre School Board meeting (July 8, 2024), Randy Hartmann and Dennis James renewed their oath of office. Joan Adam was elected board president and Dan Cronin was elected vice president.
