We have many volunteer positions to fill. Some require a specific skill set (Umpiring Softball Games), but most jobs can be taught when you arrive. You are appreciated!
The size of your dinnerware can affect how much you eat. Eating from a large plate can make your portion look smaller, while eating from a small plate can make it look bigger.
Eating from smaller plates has been associated with feeling full faster. When this happens, you eat less. Also, if you don’t realize you’re eating less than usual, you won’t compensate by eating more at the next meal. By eating from smaller dinnerware, you can trick your brain into thinking that you’re eating more, making yourself less likely to overeat. Why not try it for a week? It’s easy and can’t hurt!
