Pierre Little League fell to Rapid City Little League 4-0 last night in their first game of the 2024 Little League State Championship tournament. Carter Dokken, Jax Newcomer and Kingston Massa each had base hits for Pierre, but they were unable to bring any runs across the plate. Pierre is now facing elimination as they look to keep their hopes alive tonight against Sioux Falls Little League.
Sioux Falls found themselves in this elimination game after a heartbreaking, 10-9 loss to Canyon Lake Little League. Canyon Lake manufactured an impressive 6-run comeback to secure the win.
The elimination game between Pierre and Sioux Falls is set for an 8:30 CT first pitch tonight.
