Hughes/Stanley county Emergency Manager resigning effective Sept. 8, 2024

For the second time in less than a year, the Hughes County Commission is looking for a new Emergency Management Director.

Hughes County Finance Officer Thomas Oliva gave county commissioners the news about Troy Blevins during this week’s meeting (Sept. 3, 2024).

Previous emergency managers Cathy Strudle and Rob Fines– who is now a Hughes County Commissioner– also served as the Emergency Management Director for Stanley County.
