The Pierre School District is off to a great start for the 2024-25 school year. That was the word from Superintendent Dr. Kelly Glodt when sharing remarks during this week’s school board meeting (Sept. 9, 2024).
Glodt says administrators have been impressed by the district’s new staff members.
Glodt thanked the Pierre School Board members for the work they do behind the scenes to make the school year go smoothly.
Glodt says one committee, in particular, that will be busy this year is the Curriculum Committee.
District enrollment numbers have to be finalized by the last Friday in September (Sept. 27, 2024). Glodt didn’t give preliminary numbers but did say after losing 40-some students they weren’t expecting to lose the past two school years, this year’s numbers look “promising.”
