An hour and a half west of Fort Pierre last night, the Lady Buffaloes went on the road in search of their 4th win of the season. In a tough atmosphere with a raucous student section for the Scotties, the Lady Buffs silenced the crowd with a dominant game one 25-13 victory. It looked like smooth sailing for the Lady Buffs, but Philip answered back beautifully winning game two to even up the match. Two more nip-and-tuck games would bring the match to a decisive game 5 that was as exciting as the games that preceded it. Stanley County utilized JoRayah Walker and Brecklyn Huebner’s height to dominate the net up front and pull off the 15-10 final set victory. Brylee Kafka was the Player of the Game. The Lady Buffs improve to 4-2 on the season and will play in a tournament tomorrow afternoon at noon.
