The Twins have had the White Sox number this season winning 4 of 5, then again, most teams seem to beat the White Sox. But a win is a win! And the Twins have won the series after taking game two of the series last night 6-3. Byron Buxton saved the game on Tuesday night with a diving catch in center field with runners on second and third and 2 outs, last night he did it at the plate.
Buxton went deep into the left field bleachers in the bottom of the 7th to add some insurance and make the score 6-3. The But the Player of the Game was Trevor Larnach who went 2-3 and hit a homerun for the third time this season. The Twins scored like a steady rain adding a run in the third, fourth, fifth, sixth and two in the seventh.
Justin Topa was credited with the win for the Twins as they move to 9-15 on the season. The Twins will go for the sweep tonight at 12:10 PM CT, and you can listen live on KGFX 1060 AM or on 103.1 FM in the Pierre area.
