If elected to Pierre City Commission, Lerseth wants to get creative to improve shortage of affordable housing and child care

Robin Lerseth is one of five candidates running for two spots on the Pierre City Commission in June.

The 2005 T.F. Riggs High School graduate says she and her family have a long history in Pierre.

One area where Lerseth thinks Pierre city government does really well is providing places where families can easily access all sorts of activities.

Lerseth would like to see improvement in the availability of child care and affordable housing.

The election will be held June 3, 2025.

With one open seat and two candidates filing petitions, the Stanley County School Board will also hold an election June 3. Those candidates are incumbent Tyler Green and Ty Norman.
