Day two of the Sharpe Showdown brought warmer weather, but the wind stuck around making it another tough fishing day for the anglers. The Day two weights were similar to day one, but no one seemed to catch that one fish that would set them apart like Robert Crow did in the NWT tournament days before.
After a day one weight of nearly 11 lbs., Ryan Thompson and Matt Lyon sat comfortably in first place. Lyon and Thompson would bring in 8-15 on Sunday which would be enough to secure them first place for the weekend and a $7,000 purse. Second place Kevin Merrill and Tim Agena finished second with a final weight of 17-35. A close third was held by Brad Saathoff and Josh Spies who finished with 17-09.
