Pierre residents have until Monday at 5pm to absentee vote in city commission election;

The Pierre City Commission and the Stanley County School Board will each hold an election on Tuesday (June 3, 2025).

Five candidates have turned in petitions hoping to win one of two spots on the Pierre City Commission. The candidates are incumbent Blake Barringer, John Childs, Kevin Larsen, Robin Lerseth and Matthew Reitzel. Absentee voting can be done at Pierre City Hall between now and 5pm CT on Monday. Tuesday, polls will be open from 7am-7pm CT. DRG News will have election results for you Tuesday night once they become available.
