Sterling says the art and vendor booths, carnival rides, games, food and beverage vendors continue on Saturday, as does the musical entertainment.
Oahe Days is put on entirely by volunteers and Sterling says they work hard to provide things that are free to do.

June 18, 2025:
While recent rains have been good for getting things to grow in fields, pastures, lawns and gardens, they also cause growth in the number of mosquitoes people encounter when outdoors.
Pierre Park Superintendent Jay Jensen says his team began fogging the community with adulticide and treating standing water with larvicide about three weeks ago (May 29, 2025). He says they treated sports fields with insecticide last week and the most recent residential fogging operation– the third one this year– was done Tuesday night (June 17, 2025).
Jensen says fogging is used to kill adult mosquitoes, but prevention is the most effective way to control the mosquito population as a whole. Residents should eliminate mosquito breeding grounds by removing standing water from bird baths, tire swings or any sort of container that holds water.
Jensen says Pierre sets and monitors mosquito traps annually to help identify the optimal times for mosquito control operations. He says they start monitoring activity early in the season, and continue to check traps as long as weather creates favorable conditions for the mosquitoes to breed.

Friday night headliner: Mallrats
Nothin’ but the 90’s sing-along rock. Step back in time and embark on a musical journey through the iconic era of flannel shirts, neon jackets, and alternative rock. Mallrats is not a band; it’s a time machine transporting you straight into the heart of a 90’s party filled with iconic sing-a-long rock.
The mission is crucial: recreate the authentic sound and energy of the ’90s, and become immersed in the celebration of an era. With a visual production far exceeding expectations, Mallrats perform in front of a 24’ video wall encompassed by an explosive display of confetti cannons and a high intensity performance all contained inside a luminescent haze.

The band has shared the stage with national acts like Plush, helping launch their music careers to a new level. Since then, the group has continued their Northeast Tour, been featured on MTV, and their latest release ‘Outlaws’ hit Top 5 on the US iTunes Rock Charts! With a loyal and growing fanbase, Honey Trap continues to captivate audiences worldwide, with their unforgettable performances and infectious rock anthems.

Saturday Headliner: Struggle Jennings
Struggle Jennings was destined to be an Outlaw. Contrary to what you’d expect of the grandson of country icons Waylon Jennings and Jessi Colter, he spent his formative years in the West Nashville neighborhood, now known as the Nations; the man of the house, after losing his father a senseless act of violence. From hopping on the tour bus with his grandparents, to being back home in the Nations with his mother, he developed a love for both the gangster rap of the ’80s and ’90s that he heard in the streets and the outlaw country that ran in his veins. Genres that are seemingly worlds apart, yet stem from the same place once you scratch the surface. These days Struggle is back to his roots in country music, but as he says in his song, “Twisted,” (off his upcoming album El Camino, due out 5/31), “might’ve changed my ways but I never switched up…” He’s staying true to who he is and stepping into the next chapter.
Saturday Opener: TrailerPark Country
TrailerPark Country is a band out of Sioux Falls. Their claim to fame is they released a single in 2024 titled, “Tailgate Crazy.” It quickly became a hit within the NFL Tailgating communities. So, much that TrailerPark Country was invited to and performed at The SuperFan Summit Tailgate in Detroit April 2024 for the NFL Draft. Since then, they have performed this song and other for the Houston Texans, Minnesota Vikings and Tennessee Titans Tailgates. The music video with them can be seen here: https://youtu.be/0QGIja-538c?si=uq7IWvCnbtYckmZu.
