Two men from Florida wanted for the murder of a store clerk have been arrested in southeastern South Dakota by the U.S. Marshals Service – Dakota Territory Fugitive Task Force with the assistance of several state and local partners.
Devon Collymore and Moises Ramirez were both wanted in connection for the June 11, 2024, killing of a store clerk in North Miami Beach, Florida. Both Collymore and Ramirez’ warrants were for First Degree Murder and Robbery.
Collymore was located and arrested in the 4900 block of North Cliff Avenue in Sioux Falls. Collymore was transported to the Minnehaha County Jail and is currently awaiting his initial appearance and extradition proceedings to Florida.
Ramirez was tracked to Yankton, South Dakota where he was arrested near Douglas Avenue and East 9th Street. Ramirez was taken to the Yankton County Jail and is currently awaiting his initial appearance and extradition proceedings to Florida.
Law enforcement agencies assisting with these arrests were the U.S. Marshals Service, South Dakota Highway Patrol, South Dakota Division of Criminal Investigation, and the Yankton Police Department.
