Newly elected representatives on the Pierre City Commission and the Stanley County School Board along with re-elected members of the Pierre School Board have all been sworn in to three year terms in their respective offices during the past two weeks.
City Commissioners Robin Lerseth and Matthew Reitzel took their oath of office last week (July 1, 2025) (See photos below).
During this week’s meetings (July 9, 202), Joan Adam and Jessica Lewis renewed their oath of office for the Pierre School Board (see photo below) while Ty Norman was officially sworn in (not pictured) as a member of the Stanley County School Board.
Also during their recent reorganizational meetings, Jamie Huizenga was reelected president of the Pierre City Commission. Joan Adam was reelected president of the Pierre School Board and Jessica Lewis was elected vice-president. For the Stanley County School Board, Chris Fosheim and Jessica Paxton-Deal were reelected president and vice-president, respectively.
