Sept. 16, 2025:
Riley Berg and Corde Austin have been crowned the 2025 Pierre T.F. Riggs High School Homecoming Queen and King.
Coronation and the burning of the letters were held Monday night (Sept. 15, 2025). Other seniors on the Homecoming Royal Court are Nora Allen, Hadley Hart, Kathryn Hostler, Emery Larson, Bridger Babcock, Aiden Bass, Caleb Morris and Hudson Shaffer.
Pierre’s Homecoming Parade is Tuesday at 6:30pm. Entry forms are available on the Pierre School District website.
The Homecoming football game is Friday at 7pm at Hollister Field vs. the Brookings Bobcats. DRG Media Group Sportscaster Brian Oakland will have the game on River 92.7 with video on the River page at www.DRGnews.com or on the DRG News app.

Sept. 8, 2025:
Next week (Sept. 15-19, 2025) is Homecoming Week for the Pierre Public School District.
Seniors selected for the Homecoming Royal Court are King candidates Corde Austin, Bridger Babcock, Aiden Bass, Caleb Morris (not pictured) and Hudson Shaffer and Queen candidates Nora Allen, Riley Berg, Hadley Hart, Kathryn Hostler, Emery Larson.
The theme for this year is “” (Wizard of Oz).
Coronation will be held Monday, Sept. 15, 2025, at 7pm at the T.F. Riggs High School Theatre. After Coronation, the burning of the letters will take place in the lower parking lot at Riggs, followed by BINGO in the Riggs cafeteria. Grades 9-12 are invited. There will be prizes and popcorn.
The Pierre Homecoming Parade is Tuesday, Sept. 16 at 6:30pm. Entry forms are available on the Pierre School District website.
