Labor Department offering workforce knowledge session Thursday covering South Dakota employment laws

The Department of Labor and Regulation will host its next Workforce Knowledge Series session on Thursday (Nov. 13, 2025) at 11:30 a.m. CST/10:30 a.m. MST via Microsoft Teams.

The 30-minute session provides an overview of the employment laws affecting workplaces across South Dakota, including common rules and requirements.

Registration is required. Visit tinyurl.com/dlr-workshops and select the calendar listing for the event.

The Workforce Knowledge Series is an ongoing initiative by DLR to share expertise on employment topics, providing valuable tools and resources to help businesses address workforce recruitment, retention, and operational challenges.
