Joshua Boll has been the Walworth County Sheriff since 2014, and has officially announced his bid for re-election this year (2026). Sheriff Boll has publicly released the following statement.
Greetings Citizens of Walworth County,
My name is Joshua Boll and I am currently the Walworth County Sheriff. I have been your County Sheriff since June of 2014.
I am seeking re-election for the next Four year term starting January 1st of 2027 and I will be running for re-election in the upcoming election cycle this year, 2026.
It has been an honor to serve the citizens, in the capacity of County Sheriff and an honor in having so much support shown to me during my time as County Sheriff. I work closely with many departments and agencies, to include all of our fire departments, EMS services and law enforcement agencies.
I have a total of 25 combined law enforcement years of experience and have been in Walworth County since the fall of 2009. In 1999 I started my law enforcement career and has continued to the present time, in 2026.
Sheriff, Duane Mohr retired in 2014 and I was appointed to the position of Sheriff, soon after I secured a win, in the election in 2014. I then took the elected office of Walworth County Sheriff, January 1st of 2015. At the end of 2026 it will be 12 years (three 4yr terms) as Sheriff for Walworth County.
I look forward to your continued support as I enter into the election process for
re-election to the position of Walworth County Sheriff. I am always grateful and have an open door policy, for anyone to come in and visit and talk about things.
Thanks again to you all, for all your support thus far, it has been astounding, and I look forward and hope for your continued support, as I enter the re-election process.
Joshua Boll
