Grittners, DeRouchey Donate to “Go Hog Wild” Campaign

HURON, S.D. – The South Dakota State Fair Foundation is pleased to announce a pair of generous $15,000 donations from Dr. Gary and Connie Grittner of Ft. Pierre and from the Fred and Joan DeRouchey family to the “Hog Wild for a Better Barn” fundraising campaign.
Their contribution supports essential upgrades to the hog barn, helping ensure exhibitors, families, and their animals have a safe and functional space during the fair and non-fair events.
The “Hog Wild for a Better Barn” campaign continues to make improvements that strengthen youth involvement in livestock events and preserve the long-standing traditions of the South Dakota State Fair. The fundraising goal for the project is $240,000.
