SIOUX FALLS – Lincoln Kienholz has joined a select list of Pierre Governor basketball players.
Kienholz, a junior, was named Tuesday to the AA first team of the South Dakota Basketball Coaches Association All-State Boys Basketball Teams.
Kienholz, a second-team all-state selection in 2021, is the 13th Governor boys basketball player to receive multiple all-state honors.
Kienholz was third in AA boys scoring at 19.9 points per game, fourth in rebounding at 7.3 per game and also averaged 2.8 assists. He shot 47 percent from the field, made 27 three-pointers and 73 percent of his free throws, and had 36 steals and five blocked shots.
