A 21 year old man from Pierre has been charged with Operating a Vehicle with a Revoked Driver’s License after putting his vehicle into Mickelson Pond yesterday (May 23, 2022) morning.
Information from the Pierre Police Department says officers were called shortly before 8am to the location just off Fourth Street. Gabriel MedicineEagle, III, had left the pond’s parking lot at a high rate of speed, lost control, drove through the ditch, drove over the bike path and ended up with the vehicle’s front end submerged in the pond. Neither MedicineEagle nor his passenger was injured.
