A 68-year-old man from Philip has been identified as the person who died early Friday night in a one-vehicle crash seven miles east of Billsburg in Haakon County.
Information from the South Dakota Highway Patrol says Wallace Neville was driving a 2005 Toyota Tundra eastbound on South Dakota Highway 34 when it left the roadway, hit an approach and eventually rolled.
Neville was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene and was the only person involved.
South Dakota’s Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash.
The Highway Patrol is part of the South Dakota Department of Public Safety.
