Lorelei Ann Allison, 89, of Pierre, SD passed away on July 22, 2022. There will be a visitation at Isburg Funeral Chapel in Pierre on July 29, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. Following the visitation, there will be a private graveside service for family and close friends.
Lorelei Ann Allison was born July 10, 1933 in Long Beach, CA to Agnes (Parsley)and Lawrence Grant. She attended local schools and graduated from Long Beach Jordan High School. It was there that she met her husband Jack Allison of 52 years.
Lorelie enjoyed sale-ing of the garage variety and was a fierce defender of a person’s right to bingo. Known as someone who could keep a confidence, she never shared how much she won at bingo with her husband. Lorelei was a loving wife, mother, and nana. She provided a safe haven for her entire family.
Lorelei is survived by her children, their spouses, 14 grandchildren, and 27 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack (Papa) Allison, and 1 great-grandchild, Pearl Allison.
