Beau L. Flying By, 22, of Cherry Creek, entered the spirit world on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at his home.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., MDT, Friday, August 12, 2022, at Cherry Creek Gym, Cherry Creek. Burial will follow in UCC Cemetery, Cherry Creek. Wake services will be 7:00 p.m., Thursday, August 11, 2022, at the gym with a procession from the hill east of town at 4:00 p.m.

Beau Lucas Flying By was born on September 26, 1999 to Myron Flying By Sr. and Teresita Blue Arm in Eagle Butte, South Dakota. Beau grew up in Cherry Creek, South Dakota. In his younger years he always loved to ride his bike and play with his cars. He was always a helpful and caring guy. Beau attended Takini School and then when Covid got bad, he worked security. Later he worked as a carryout/deli worker at Lakota Thrifty Mart in Dupree, South Dakota. Beau especially loved being around his family and friends. He was always laughing and joking around. He was such a loving soul.

He is survived by Dayanara Waloke and their children: Emerald Waloke-Flying By and Beau Flying By Jr.; mother: Teresita Blue Arm; brothers: D’Boy Condon, Colin Marrowbone, Lynden Flying By, Calvin Flying By, Moses Flying By, and Myron Flying By; sisters: Jamie Condon, Deindre Condon, and Lindsey (Joe Hale) Flying By; nieces: Tina Iron Hawk, Affinity Iron Hawk, Jaeshawnia Iron Hawk, Leialoha Hale, Hannah Hale, A’Raina Cloud Eagle, and Tayden Flying By; and nephews: Masato Hale, D’Boy Condon Jr., and Skye Cloud Eagle.

Preceding him in death is his dad Myron Flying By Sr.; grandparents: Moses and Leona Flying By, Neeta Marrowbone, and Leonard Blue Arm; uncles: Russel Flying By, Terry Flying By, and Byron Flying By; aunts: Cordelia Benoist, Faye Condon, and Magdeline Long Feather; nephews: Lucas Flying By and Aaron Paul Hale; and nieces: Kubria Flying By and Gabriella Flying By.
