Tanner Elton Kromarek, 31, of Sioux Falls formerly of Pierre died unexpectedly of complications from Diabetes at his home in Sioux Falls on Tuesday, August 30th. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 6th from 6:00-7:00pm at Lutheran Memorial Church with a prayer service beginning at 7:00pm. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday September 7th at Lutheran Memorial Church in Pierre.
Tanner was born on June 25, 1991, in Pierre, SD. He grew up in Pierre graduating from T.F. Riggs High School in 2010. He attended SDSU in Brookings, SD, Southeast Tech in Sioux Falls, SD, and UNK in Kearney, NE where he graduated in 2018 with a degree in Astronomy. He worked at Midway Auto in Kearney while attending college and Royal Engineered Composites and CCL Industries after graduation.
Tanner loved spending time with family and friends; during his journey through the upper plains, he always found time to come back and see them. He loved Broncos football, fishing, golfing, snowboarding, traveling (especially to the mountains), science (anything to do with space), and doing anything with his daughter.
He is survived by the love of his life, his daughter Kennedy Herman of Sioux Falls, his parents Twyla (Todd) Hanson of Pierre, Scott (Deni) Kromarek of Pierre; his brothers Tyree Millin of Pierre, James Blackmore of Volga, Nic Blackmore of Volga, and sister Justine (Cody) Garber of Kadoka; his grandmothers Donna Kromarek of Hastings, MN, Lynn Schul of Emily, MN and nephews Jonathan, Jethro and Jack.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents George and Darleen Millin, Rew and Joyce Hanson, Allan Kromarek and Larry Schul.
