Cory K. Eidam, 45, of Gettysburg passed away Saturday, October 15, 2022.
Private family services will be held.
Cory Keith Eidam was born October 7, 1977, in Hoven, SD to Keith and Peggy (Zweber) Eidam. He grew up on the family ranch 16 miles west of Gettysburg.
Cory received his education from Gettysburg, graduating with the class of 1996. He went on to attend Lake Area Vo-Tech in Watertown, where he received a degree in diesel mechanics. Following graduation, Cory returned to the family ranch where he joined his grandfather, Orlow Eidam and his father, Keith. Together they raised cattle and hogs as well as farmed the land, raising corn, sunflowers, wheat, and soybeans.
Cory is survived by his parents: Keith and Peggy of Gettysburg; sisters: Andrea (Will) Barnard of Gettysburg and Mariah (Jesse) Dunn of Bismarck, ND; grandma, Cora Zweber of Gettysburg; and three nephews: Ethan Amick, Bjorn and Barrett Barnard, all of Gettysburg.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents: John Zweber (1989), Orlow Eidam (2007), and Jule Eidam (2017); and a stillborn niece, Rose Jule Barnard (2018).
