Jacey Lee White Eagle was born October 29, 1981, to Ansel and Wanda White Eagle. Jacey was one of seven sons, Juan, Kip, Ansel Jr, Joey, Jacey, Jeffrey, Jesse and two sisters, Anessa and Anna Lisa White Eagle. Jacey grew up with his brothers, typical boys, played, laughed, cried, sometimes naughty. One thing I made sure of; my boys did not fight amongst each other. When they were small, I would put boxing gloves on them, clear the living room and let them go at it, get the frustration out and everything would be okay. Out of the boys, Jacey, Ansel Jr, and Joey became very good boxers. All the boys were very athletic. I had my basketball team; I had my track stars. All very talented, all the boys had Mom’s artistic abilities, good artist. I loved my children; I raised them to work out and take care of each other and never let anyone hurt family. Jacey was about three years old when he went to live in Phoenix, Arizona with his grandpa Oogie and family. But because he got really lonesome for his family, they flew him home. Ansel and I lived in Tacoma, Washington during his time in the service as a family, both parents attended college in Bismarck ND, United Tribes three and a half years. We lived in Mandan while attending college. Jacey graduated the eighth grade at United Tribes and went on to school at Mandan high school. After returning home, he met Theresa, and to this union two children were born, Isiah and Athalia White Eagle. Later on, he met and married Bernadette Red Bear and their four children were born, Jace, Jacelyn, and twins Jajuan and Jacia White Eagle. After all this, no matter what he did or where he was at, he always came back to what was dear to him, his dad, mom, brothers and sisters, extended family and most importantly his children. They are all very near and dear to him in his heart. All Jacey’s brothers and sisters grew up and went their separate ways. Yes, “Like branches on a tree, we may grow in different directions, yet our roots remain as one”.
Our prayers are with you, we love you and always will til the end of time. We will look out for your children and now you can be a Guardian angel to your kids. God bless and love you.
