While on the farm, Betty could be seen walking the two and three quarters mile to town to enjoy a cold coke and get a pack of cigarettes. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family during gatherings, camping trips and family celebrations at the shop. She loved taking drives in the country during planting and harvest season. She also enjoyed bingo, playing 6-5-4 dice, and participating in other activities and special events at the assisted living and nursing home. She would enjoy special lunch dates to Dairy Queen with special friend, Karen Pedigo, and daughter-in-law, Stephanie.
