Zap Lose At Spearfish

SPEARFISH – Early runs by the opponent again did in the Oahe Zap Tuesday in an 18-3 loss to the Spearfish Sasquatch at Black Hills Energy Stadium.

After Spearfish scored three in the first and the Zap tied the game with three runs in the top of the second, the Sasquatch scored six runs in the third and took control of the game.

Nick Blessing lasted three innings on the mound, allowing nine runs and eight hits and absorbing the loss for the Zap (3-18).

Gage Huffman and Jackson Mix had RBI singles for the Zap.  Tyler Hoffman drove in a run with a ground ball.
