CASPER, WY – For the second straight night, the Oahe Zap had an early lead, only to lose it.
The Casper Spuds broke a tie with four runs in the sixth inning Thursday and defeated the Zap 7-2 at Mike Lansing Field.
Winning pitcher Easten Smith broke the tie with a two-run triple and drove in three for the game. He also pitched a complete game seven-hitter.
The runs for the Zap (6-24) came in the second inning on an error and a double play grounder.
