PIERRE – An error scored the two go-ahead runs for the Oahe Zap Tuesday in a 2-1 win over the Fremont Zap at Hyde Stadium, the sixth win in the last 10 games for the Zap.
The seventh-inning rally started with two-out walks to Tyler Traphagen and Trevor Seagraves. Jackson Mix then singled, and an error by Fremont left fielder Henry Hayman allowed both runners to score.
Abel Anzaldua was the winning pitcher for the Zap (12-29), allowing just a run and four hits in seven innings. After John Patty pitched a scoreless eighth inning, Micah Larsen worked around two hits in the ninth inning for the save.
