Casper Rallies To Beat Zap, Clinch ILB 2nd Half

PIERRE – Casper rallied from two deficits by scoring four runs in the eighth inning Thursday and defeated the Oahe Zap 9-5 at Hyde Stadium to clinch the second half title in Independence League Baseball.

Casper will play first-half winner Fremont in the ILB Championship Series next week.

Jackson Mix had three hits for the Zap (15-38, 10-15). Trevor Seagraves doubled twice and drove in two runs. Tyler Hoffman hit two sacrifice flies.
