Larry Joseph Thompson Hand Boy, age 78, of Eagle Butte, SD, entered the
Spirit World on Friday, September 15, 2023 at the Medicine Wheel Elderly
Center at Eagle Butte.

He is survived by his wife Rene West of Rapid City. His son William Tymes
of Pine Ridge. A daughter Tori Hand Boy - Feather Necklace of Cleveland,
Ohio. His other children he raised are daughters, Christi Thundershield of
Eagle Butte. Erin Shaun of Rapid City. Samuel Moran and Eliza West of Rapid
City. Marcus Hollow Horn of Eagle Butte. Two brothers, George Hand Boy and
Leland Hand Boy Of Eagle Butte.Three sister, Althea Hand Boy of Promise,
SD. Gracie Looking Back of Wakpala, SD. And Tessie Schultz of Mobridge, SD.
52 grandchildren.
A first night wake will begin at 7:00 PM, Saturday, September 23, 2023 at
the Woyatan Lutheran Church at Rapid City, SD. A second night wake will
begin at 7:00 PM, Sunday, September 24, at the CRST Bingo Hall at Eagle
Butte. A Celebration of Life Honoring will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday,
September 25 at the CRST Bingo Hall with Pastor Jonathan Old Horse
officiating. After a luncehon burial with follow at St. Mary's Episcopal
Church at Promise, SD.
Funeral arrangements have been placed in the care of Rooks Funeral Services
at Star Nation Center, Eagle Butte.
