Nila married Carl Knoepfle at the Artas Baptist Church on July 18, 1948. They lived briefly with Carl’s brother, Emil and Elsie Knoepfle and then moved to a farm they purchased 13 miles south of Eureka. She enjoyed crocheting, embroidering, quilting, playing bingo and cards. Nila was an amazing cook and baker. She loved entertaining family and friends, and no one ever left hungry.
