Fort Pierre moving forward with repairs to Fort Volunteer structure

The Fort Pierre City Council has accepted a bid to fix the Fort Volunteer building that was damaged in an accident back in November 2023.

City Finanance Officer Roxanne Heezen says liability insurance and the city’s insurance will cover the cost.

The bid amount to do the repairs is just shy of $13-thousand ($12,908.19).
