The Fort Pierre City Council has approved an easement with the West River/Lyman Jones Rural Water company.
Fort Pierre Public Works Director Rick Hahn says the easement property is by the town’s lagoon.
Hahn says the easement doesn’t really impact the city’s property.
The easement agreement was approved unanimously.
