Carlyle K. Buffalo Sr. 39, of Phoenix AZ, entered the Spirit World on Saturday March 30, 2024, in Phoenix AZ.
A traditional Lakota wake service will begin at 6:00 PM (MST) Friday, April 12, 2024, at the CRST Bingo Hall with a procession from Rooks Funeral Home at 5:00 PM, to the Bingo Hall. A traditional Lakota funeral service will begin at 10:00 AM, Saturday, April 13, 2024, at the Bingo Hall, with Spiritual leader Ivan Looking Horse, officiating. The burial will take place at High Elk cemetery 2 miles south of the 2-mile junction, Eagle Butte, SD. A luncheon will follow the burial.
He is survived by his parents, his three children Sarai Buffalo, Saahdia Buffalo and Carlyle Buffalo, Jr. of Metlakatla, AK., one sister Carlyss “Dott” Buffalo-Alfred of Bloomfield, NM., four brothers, Kyle Buffalo, Charles Buffalo, Carl Buffalo and Colton Buffalo all of Eagle Butte SD.
