The Pierre Governor girls basketball team officially ended their season Monday night (April 15, 2024) with their annual awards banquet.
The Governors finished 17-7 overall, with a 5th Place Consolation Championship at the State AA Tournament in Sioux Falls last month.
Head coach Kirk Beebout highlighted single-season and career accomplishments for various individual players and distributed plaques to several for what he described as, “not necessarily traditional awards.” But every award was very much indicative of what each recipient meant to the Governor program this season.
