PIERRE, SD – Trevor Sundahl, 22, left this world surrounded by family on April 24, 2024, after a valiant battle with cancer. A truck meet will be held in his honor on Saturday, May 4th at the American Legion in Pierre Starting at 4:00pm.
Born on March 7, 2002, in Pierre, he grew up and attended school in Pierre graduating from T.F. Riggs High School in 2020. He played football in high school and started an enthusiasm for customizing trucks. He will be remembered as the light in the room with a carefree spirit and infectious sense of humor.
Following his graduation, Trevor channeled his love for vehicles into a career, joining the team at Capital City Motors where he was a valued member of the service garage.
Trevor’s passion for customizing trucks was more than a hobby; it was a canvas for his creativity. He had an ability to transform a truck into a work of art.
He was funny and creative with a contagious laugh and will be missed by all who knew him. His most special times were time spent with family and most weekends you could find him sitting on the couch watching movies and joking with his family. Anytime he could convince his dad Kelly to make his carne asada he would, it was his favorite meal.
He is survived by his parents Cathie and Kelly Llamas, his brothers, Hunter Llamas and Levi Kolda, sister Estrella Llamas and girlfriend Crystal Brau. He is also survived by his grandmothers, Joel Pfeifle, Linda Sundahl, and his grandfather Jose Llamas. His aunts, Teresa Pfeifle, Melissa (Tony) Neyhart, and Michelle (Chris) Dieball.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Curt Pfeifle and John Sundahl, grandmothers Pauline Sundahl and Lorrie Llamas.
