The Fort Pierre City Pool will open for the season Saturday (June 1, 2024) with hours from 12:30-5pm CT. The pool will be open seven days a week including July 4.
Cost is $2 per child/adult per session. People may purchase a $30 individual pass or $50 family pass for the season.
Open Swim is from 12:30-5pm and 6-9pm daily, unless otherwise posted. The pool closes at 5pm on Saturdays. No open swim Saturday evenings.
The swimming lesson schedule will be posted on the web site at www.fortpierre.com under the Departments tab, then Parks, Recreation, & Fireworks. To schedule swimming lessons, please call the Fort Pierre City Pool at 605-223-7696. Sessions will be held June 17-28; July 8-19; and July 22-Aug. 2.
The pool will close if there is lightning or thunder or if a severe weather warning is issued for our area, or if the quality of water or facility presents a health or safety hazard. The pool may be re-opened if severe weather passes over at the discretion of the pool manager.
