Celebration of Life Services for Mary Ann Steensrud, 88, of Mobridge will be at 5:30 PM, Friday, September 20, 2024, at Family Worship Center in Mobridge. Mary Ann Steensrud (Guidice) peacefully entered the presence of the Lord on September 13, 2024, at the Walworth Care Center in Selby, South Dakota.
She was born in Plevna, MT on February 5, 1936. She was the youngest of five children. Her parents were William and Alvina Guidice. While growing up, she lived in Montana, Idaho and Washington and then settled in Great Falls, Montana. The last 16 years have been spent in Mobridge, South Dakota at the Prairie Sunset Village, near family.
Mary Ann was a homemaker while her children were growing up and later worked several places. She always enjoyed people and brought a smile with her wonderful humor.
Mary Ann was married to Alfred T. Steensrud on August 17, 1957. They were blessed with three children, Lynette Thompson (Larry) from Glenham, SD, Audrey Meek (Kevin), and Allen T. Steensrud (Leslie) both from Great Falls, Montana, nine grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren which she cherished with all her heart! Mary Ann had many friends and family that shared in all the love she had to give. She loved getting to know people and took a genuine interest in them, but most of all, she was not ashamed to talk about her Jesus!
