Opponents of two of the ballot questions on South Dakota’s general election ballot are holding an informational gathering tonight (Oct. 9, 2024) in Fort Pierre.
Representatives from the group Protecting South Dakota Kids will talk about why they are against Initiated Measure 29 and Amendment G. IM29 would legalize recreational cannabis use by adults and Amendment G would legalize abortion in the state.
The group will be at the AmericInn (312 Island Drive) in Fort Pierre from 7-9pm CT. They also making stops in Rapid City, Aberdeen, Watertown, Brookings, Madison and Sioux Falls.
