BLUNT, SD – Marty Weddle, 58, of Blunt, SD, died on Friday, November 15, 2024 at Avera St. Mary’s Hospital in Pierre.

Marty was born to Helen & Bobby Weddle of Gettysburg, SD in 1966. He grew up there & if you gave him enough time, he’d tell you all about his Grandmother’s Cafe & all the hell he raised on those small town streets. He attended job Corp in Utah & he was really proud of that accomplishment. He wore many hats in his short 58 years, but he would most likely tell you about his time as a restaurant owner & the years he spent being an engine mechanic. He spent a lot of his life raising kids, from helping his mom run a daycare to raising his own. He spent the last few years sticking close to home. Where he would always welcome you in for a cup of coffee & great conversation. So, remember him fondly, put the coffee on and “holler if you need anything.”

Marty is survived by his Father, Sister, Children & Grandchildren.

Marty was preceded in death by his mother Helen Rebecca Weddle.
