Paul Eugene Stroh, 76, of Selby passed away at St. Alexius Hospital in Bismarck, ND, on December 16, 2024, with his four kids at his side.
Paul was born to George and Frieda (Dockter) Stroh on November 28, 1948, in Ashley, ND. He attended school in Venturia until 1958, when his family moved to Selby, where he graduated high school. After graduation he attended and graduated from Aberdeen School of Commerce.
Paul married Nancy White in 1966 and from this marriage he was blessed with four children, Greg, Bryan, Heather, and Shawn.
Paul spent the majority of his life in Selby. He was the office manager at Selby Equity and Missouri Basin Builders. He also worked at Selby Oil and retired from Dakota Trails, but to stay busy he enjoyed cooking at the Berens and Mr. Bobs.
Paul enjoyed being involved and watching his kid’s activities, coaching baseball, helping with scouts, and hunters safety course. He enjoyed hunting, reading, Louie Lamour, and his afternoon card games. He especially enjoyed fishing with his grandsons and watching them play baseball.
Paul was grateful for having shared his life with his children and grandchildren, Greg (Rhonda) Stroh of Redfield, SD, Bryan Stroh of Rapid City, SD, Heather (Jeremy) Jackson of Rapid City, SD, and Shawn Stroh ( Sarah Johnson) of Aberdeen, SD, grandchildren, Haley, Hunter, Holden, Tatum and Peyton, siblings, Rose, Ronnie (Diane), Stanley, Rodney (Cheryl) and Nancy.
He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Frieda, brothers, Ray and Ollie, and sister, Sandy.
There will be a prayer service at 11 AM, Friday, December 20, 2024, at St. John Lutheran Church in Selby.
