The Jones County Coyotes went on the road to take on the Scotties last night and found themselves battling from behind. The Coyotes trailed 21-18 going into the half, but they turned on the defense in the second half forcing 15 total turnovers in the third and fourth quarter alone. This, in turn, sparked the offense as the Coyotes put up 26-points to close out the game, regaining the lead midway thru the third quarter and not looking back. Jones Co. would go on to win convincingly by a score of 44-30, showing amazing halftime adjustments. Asa Best led both teams in scoring with 21, and Bryer Kinsley finishing with 15. Jones Co. improves to 4-3 and Philip falls to 2-5.
