The South Dakota Department of Game, Fish and Parks is hosting public information meetings this week in Pierre and Mobridge to discuss the Lake Oahe fishery.
The Pierre meeting is Tuesday night (Jan. 28, 2025) at 7pm CT at the Ramkota Hotel.
The Mobridge meeting is Thursday night (Jan. 30, 2025) at 7pm CT at the Wrangler Inn.
GFP Fisheries staff will provide a short presentation on the history and current trends of the Lake Oahe fishery and share management plans for the upcoming years. The public will be given the opportunity to ask questions.
At the Pierre meeting, information will also be shared regarding the Lake Sharpe fishery. Additionally, the Pierre meeting will be recorded and made available on the GFP YouTube page for later viewing.
