Vance Erick Weber was born on March 13, 1995, to Rick and Laura (Buss) Weber in O’Neill, Nebraska. He grew up in Pierre, South Dakota, where he graduated from T.F. Riggs High School in 2013. He loved taking things apart and putting things together. During high school, he rebuilt a 1972 Ford truck with his father. This inspired his career as an automotive and diesel mechanic. He obtained a technical degree from WyoTech.
Growing up, Vance was a great athlete and was a talented baseball, football, and hockey player. However, he most enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. It was typical for him to outshoot his brother and dad while pheasant hunting. He loved spending time on the water, whether it was boating, jet skiing, spearfishing, or bow fishing.
He was a generous and hardworking father, brother, son, and friend.
He is survived by his son Beau, daughter Avery, and partner Ashley Peters of Wagner, SD; parents Rick and Laura Weber of Pierre, SD; siblings Garrett (Tess) Weber of La Crescent, MN; Emily Weber (Kevin Hughes) of Pierre, SD; and Jessica (Daniel) Ingram of York, NE; nieces and nephews Camden and Cooper Hughes, and Calvin and Ripley Weber, as well as numerous loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He will be greeted in Heaven by his grandparents Calvin and Marjorie Weber, uncles Butch Jobman, Randy Pierce, and Greg Weber, cousins James Pierce, Maddox Weber, Braxton Buhr, and Bexley Comstock.
