The Pierre City Commission has approved (Feb. 18, 2025) asphalt and concrete crushing contracts for work to be done this year.
Construction and Operations Manager Josh Bible says the asphalt crushing contract is for $48,000.
Bible says the concrete crushing contract total is $14,800.
Pierre recycles these construction materials to provide cost-savings to taxpayers and to prevent the usable material from going into the city-owned landfill.
