Town officials from Bowdle, Redfield, elected to District Offices for SD Municipal League

The mayor of Bowdle will serve another term as the District 6 Chairperson for the South Dakota Municipal League.

Rick Boschee was reelected during a meeting this week (March 18, 2025) in Redfield. Frank Schwartz, mayor of Redfield, was elected Vice Chair. As the district chair, Boschee will represent the district on the SDML Board of Directors.

Additionally, Municipal League Executive Director Sara Rankin recapped the outcome of the 2025 Legislative Session and the impact new laws will have on South Dakota towns.

In other business, those attending voted to hold the 2026 District 6 Meeting in Redfield.
