Forecast shows chances for rain throughout the week, into the weekend in central South Dakota

The current forecast shows some slight chances for rain to fall in central South Dakota over the coming week.

National Weather Service Meteorologist Renee Wise says the chances get better tonight (April 21, 2025) and as we get closer to the weekend.

Wise says there might be some very active weather this weekend.

As far as temperatures in central South Dakota, Wise says we’re seeing roughly 5-10 degrees above normal.
