It was a perfect Saturday for the Eureka Invite which saw a host of schools from around the state converge to play some golf. Sully Buttes boys, who were fresh off a victory earlier this week could not make it back-to-back wins as they finished fourth with a combined score of +43, just a stroke behind the third place Timber Lake. The finish at the top was almost equally as tight as Potter County was just able to edge out Edmunds Central for first place, shooting a combined team score of +39 to Central’s +41. The low round in the clubhouse for individual scoring was Hadley Thompson of Timber Lake who finished +5. Gavin Colson from Sully Buttes was right behind Thompson finishing +6 and sole second. Third was held by Selby Area’s Braxton Yackley who finished +8 for the tournament. The boys full individual and team leaderboards are below.
