Funeral services for Adrianna Rose Ironshield, 31, of Cannonball will be at 11 AM, Friday, May 30, 2025, at the Cannonball Red Gym. Burial will be at the Congregational Cemetery under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge. A procession will leave at 4 PM Thursday for a 7 PM prayer service at the Red Gym. Adrianna passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at the IHS Hospital in Ft. Yates.

Adrianna Rose Ironshield was born in Bismarck, ND to Wanda Stretches and Adrian Ironshield on August 3, 1993. She grew up in Cannonball. Adrianna attended Cannonball Headstart and graduated from Standing Rock Community High School. She had a passion for playing basketball, volleyball and running cross country. Her parents would nourish these talents throughout her youth. After Adrianna graduated high school, she enlisted in the National Guard, where she attended basic training in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri.

Adrianna worked various jobs and loved playing X-Box. She met her son’s father, Saige Guidry online and they fell in love and created Taesen Anthony Guidry.

Adrianna later moved on to become a PCA and moved to Minneapolis after separating from Saige. On her new adventure, she met Matthew Avila and had a daughter Camila Jean Avila. She held two jobs while living in Minnesota. Years later, Adrianna decided to return home where she would become her father’s PCA and take care of both her children. Cannonball was where her heart was (her family) Adrianna loved being a mother to her children. She had many friends that she met throughout her lifetime and will be truly missed by everyone.

Adrianna is survived by one son Taesen Guidry and one daughter, Camila Avila, her parents, Wanda Stretches and Adrian Ironshield, her sisters, Charmaine, Bridget, Breanna Ironshield, Joenessa Swift Horse, brothers, Robin, Kyle, Chance Ironshield and Brandon Silk, her cousins, Blaine, Mithchell, Kara, Halsey, Ravin Pretty Boy, Skylar Morrison, Derrek and Cole Ironshield, Christian, Benji Ironshield, Brandon Tikanye, Justin Black Cloud, Darcy and Alonzo Cottonwood, Melody and Josie Ironshield and Mary Ellen and Marika Hollow. Aunties, Tammy and Rhonda Two Hearts, Roychelle Morsette, Stephanie Tikanye, Joyce Wood, Roberta and Debbie Rainbow, her uncles, Perry and Terry Halsey, Daniel Morsette, Conrad Stretches Jr., Earl Brave Bull, Darrell and Sherman Ironshield, Scott Ironshield, her grandparents Lena and Leta Wise Spirit, grandpas Timothy Halsey and John Stretches, Roy Morsette and Ross Wise Spirit, nieces Kayleen Two Hearts, Asjha Pearson, Irene White Owl, and Ja’Riah & Caliah Morrison, and her nephews, Damian Yellow Earrings, Wesley Brunet, Amias StrongHeart, Luca Ironshield, Rylan Pearson, and Dom, Kyroh, and Torrey Morrison.

Adrianna is preceded in death by her grandmas, Caroline Halsey, Iola Stretches, Mary Ann Morsette and Annie Ironshield, grandpas, Aaron Ironshield, Wilfred Snow, Ronald Two Hearts, aunties, Donna Ironshield, Marlene and Diane Cottonwood and her uncles, Chad Morsette, Clem Brave Bull, Larry Ironshield, and Gerald Ironshield.
